There is no question that when talking to an experienced closer in Land broking, Wine Broking, Carbon trading or media sales that our ability to identify directly with that person’s knowledge and level of experience will both instil confidence in the candidate as well as better enable us to place them in the best role for them. There are many different types of sales people and being good in Investment sales doesn’t necessarily make you good at selling in a Lifestyle Media sales role for example, even though both are predominantly telesales jobs.
Conversely, our ability to understand and identify with those candidates who have little or no experience in sales or telesales is largely impacted by our inherent understanding of salespeople.
